@waqaszaib , no pinching and it’s not the variety, because all 13 varieties
are growing the same. I’ve never seen tomato plants this healthy, this
early. I’ve concluded that the tomatoes are growing this way because of the
abundance of sun. The garden is on a hill, so they get sun from sunrise, to
sunset. I’m also thinking the 12 tons of mushroom compost and compost tea
once a week, have something to do with it 🙂
@monteros, well if you remember last year I had too many plants, too close
together, which resulted in a severe bug problem. So I learned from my
mistakes and decided to give them extra room to grow this year. The reason
for the six foot between the rows is so we can till them, instead of
weeding them. Hence more beer drinking! I designed this garden to be as
maintenance free as possible, after the initial build. Let’s cross our
fingers!!
