great video sam and i like that ya cooked it 3 ways to show folks how it turns out ….but where was your cast iron fry pan????/keep up the good work with videos motherearth keep the faith and take care and god bless ya and family
thanks soo much for doing all 3 cooking suggestions. I had the same experience in the frying pan. I definitely think the oven will be my choice in the future!! You made me hungry gee thanks! lol
Canned bacon is great, took a couple jars camping and used the bacon grease all week long to grease anything we needed to. I make bacon gravy out of the bacon crumbles cooked in a pan. Really good. Thanks again to you and Katz 😉
Never heard of canning bacon…never heard of canning hotdogs either until I watch your other video. Just got my canner a couple days ago so I’m gonna have to try this…just as soon as I find some jars at a good price.
Tinhead! Love this vid — I’m going to be canning some bacon this winter for sure. This sure looks like it beats the heck out of those little itty bitty glass gars of the crumbled stuff you find at the store. Our grocery stores have been having the 12 oz. pkgs. of bacon on sale lately (limit 3 per purchase), and I’ve been hitting all the stores in the area buying 3 at a time and shovin’ ’em in the freezer. Is that hoarding? LOL — your friend, snowmule.
ok now i have to give it a try next time we go shopping im going to have to [ick up a bunch of bacon and some hotdogs we have done some stew meat that turned out great i just wished it didnt take so long to cook it the canner cause id be doing a bunch of it my wife thinks its a great idea to can up a bunch of meats it would free up a bunch of freezer room
