  4. Also i am sure Troy can get his hands on a angle grinder to cut them in
half cos a GABLE wud be heaps better. then he can have 2 gutters and 2
    tote’s catching water.

  5. Thanks Dori for visiting me channel, it wud be great if Troy set it up like
that b4 winter… Another idea i had today was he cud have a pot belly
stove in the middle of the covering to melt the ice and snow in winter and
keep the area warm not to mention run pipes into the camper and RV from it
to feed radiators to warm inside his camper n RV

  6. If built, he doesn’t want to forget the chicken tractor-would need some
    protection for his chickens.

  12. Wow, thanks for taking the time to do this. I like your idea very much. It
would create a nice sheltered area to store things and keep the bad weather
out. It would probably also be cooler inside there. Only problem is in
winter we get up to 2 feet of snow in a night. Would have to make it really
solid and rugged. By the way, I am thankful for seeds and most of his
comments. Keeps a fire under me to so say.

  13. Good idea Aussie, I thought of the same thing but I think the weight of the
snow would be a problem over such a large span. Unless he can crimp those
panels in the middle to allow for a gable.

  18. I like the way you think. Troy has to be able to move off the land whatever
he brings on it. Like jlp1149 mentioned, a shelter is best if you own your
land. It can be made with poles and trusses. It will keep the water off and
out of the RV. I think because he is not the land owner is why he uses RVs.
A small cabin is better and a truck camper if you need to relocate for any
reason. I live where cool and snow is not an issue.

own. So I Likeit. would add a outdoor cooking area smack dap in the middle.

  21. NOW thats the way i like being told off…. if only there were more people
like U, what more can I say, I am an IDEA factory, BUT I am sure u will see
Troy suffer again in winter cos I fear he will run out of (dry) firewood
AGAIN and freeze his ass off just so u can say “this is wot offgrid life is
all about”. Well lets just say if u have the resources why not DO IT! I
will try and refrain from offering such brilliant ideas in future…
    muahahahaha
