Most interesting documentary – nice touch with the Simon and Garfunkel theme song – “Sound of Silence”
I think this was made about 2,000, and the law helped farmers to help wildlife, then. I think they had the ‘set aside’ policy, which paid them to leave some land for wildlife. I think things were changed around 2010, for no good reason, when this policy was removed, and now, farmers are not helping wildlife so much. We need that policy back, and in the meantime, we must do what we can for wildlife, ourselves.
