Found this guy in the parking lot at the vet today. I was afraid he was going to get hurt so I relocated him back to the flower bed. He was the coolest worm I’ve ever seen and actually quite large! (Straight out of the camera, not even a crop!)
I think it’s a Tersa Sphinx caterpillar: www.duke.edu/~jspippen/naturephotos/tersa-sphinx.htm
Question by Laura525: My son has pin worms and I’m washing the bed linens, but what about pillows, foam pad and mattress?
Can you help? Leave your own answer in the comments!
These all constitute bed linens. The towels, wash cloths. etc. should also be sanitized. Taking it a step further, toilets seats, too. These are ALL places where eggs of the pin worms can be found.
