WHat did you use as mulch on the top for the melons?
Looks Great. I was twondering if you could put the watermelons on a
trellis. I’m trying a seedless variety and some cantaloupes.

if you want thick stemmed tomatoes this what you do if you are growing them
in container first fill the container only half and plant the tomatoes
plant there as it grow cut the bottom branch and add more compost and keep
doing the same thing again until you reach 2 inches from top of the
container i do this for my beefsteak tomatoes and the base stemmed is
really thick, good luck!!
This is my first garden, so it’s probably just pure luck. I think it’s
because its consistently windy here, so its either adapt or die. I’ve
noticed that the peppers have some really strong stems too.

Do you poke holes in the bottom of the buckets for the watermelon? I know
they need a lot of water for growth.
