Question by : My cat pooped out a tiny worm is he sick?
My cat is 2 months old and we just got him. Today when i took him to his litter box so he could go before coming with me to my bed he pooped out a tiny little worm like 1cm long it was still moving around in his poop. Is my kitty sick? 🙁

  1. He needs deworming, its very common, buy it at any pet store and follow the directions on the bottle

  5. Your kitty probably has tapeworms. Have your Vet check him out and get a good de-wormer. It’s quick and painless for the kitten (a pill) and for most types of worms one treatment is all it takes.

  6. From your description, I’m pretty sure he has tapeworms. Take him to the vet for some de-worming pills.

  7. Well, most cats do have worms at some time. There are worming preps you can get from a vet but they usually need to know the weight of the cat. If you are going to be a serious and responsible cat owner, though, the kindest and best thing is to take your cat to the vet to get him checked over – and neutered, if he hasn’t been already.

  8. He has worms, and its treatment is quite simple. Just visit the vet and they’ll give you some de-worming pills for your cat. That should take care of it pretty nicely.
