@holsteincowboy Aww that was nice to hear 🙂 I wish you and your cows the best haha x
@Bethany9595 Plenty of freedom – They live outside on pasture from early May to October. I do everything i can to make sure the cows have a good life. Maybe they produced the milk that went into your carmel shortbread 🙂
@lauralovedogs I was kicked in the head too and those fat biches even tramped on my hand,by the fattest animal in the whole farm, she weight 900kg or something.ouchhh!
@lauralovedogs Thanx for your praise. I never got kicked by any cow or goat. Of course you have to know which cow will kick and restrain her legs by a rope around the legs. It is more difficult to restrain a goat. The only way to restrain a goat is to make her stand on three legs by lifting one of the rear legs way up. I saw one man do it in a video, Do you have any goats now.
@fakir0005 look mate our parlour is a dairy master not DeLavel. our cows have never been happier they’ll give 20 litres by the time that they’re 3/4 of the way round and if they havent finished they can go around again so again get your facts straight before you have a go 🙂
@gtills I saw the video again. The cows r very crowded. If u milk 50 cows in the time u milked 10 before u r leaving a lot of milk in the udders. You’ve been brain washed by DeLavel sales staff. DeLavel has a very high pressure sales team. It has answers for every thing. There job’s to sell the worst possible milking arrangement. Only it does not mean that u’ve the best that is there for a dairy farm. My comments are meant for other farmers who may be tempted to copy your system.
@fakir0005 what do you know mate the cows love it. they push each other to get on. they’re not rushed or anyhting. they actually have more time on the parlour than in the old one because in the time it took to milk 10 we can milk 50 soooo… plus the fact we have ACR’s so they come off when they’re finished not yanked off so get your facts straight before you have a go mate 🙂
@lauralovedogs That’s why many farmers give such cows away to people who hand milk. Lots of people who r known to receive such cows receive lots of free cows. But most cows will accept the cups if u make sure that the teats r properly stimulated n r dripping well before applying the cups. I’ve seen millions of videos where the milkers just apply the suction cups without squeezing the stale milk out of the teats and pressing the udders to start the milk flow. These cows will knock the cups off.
@gtills You use 50 cow rotary and milk 220 cows in fifty minutes. I’ll tell you that the teats of all your cows are bleeding and you have to remove the scabs from the nipple opengs every time you milk. I knew a farmer from one such rotary who kept a box full of tooth picks to insert in the teats after milking was done so that it would be easy to open the closed teats. Who are you trying to impress?
@fakir0005 I love when someone who apparently has never set foot on an operational family dairy tries to talk like they know whats going on or how to understand cattle… Keep flailing your fingers around the keyboard spewing crap. ASPCA/PETA supporters are the worst of the bunch, they make blind and wild accusations about traditional farming. Yes there are bad farmers out there but you couldn’t tell the day and night difference if it slapped you in the face in your downtown loft.
@CableMonkey07 Cablemonkey they use the iodine on humans. But they do not milk humans. It is cruelty to dip the tits in these iodine dips. Anyway this farm is so badly managed. The cows are so close together. They are kicking the udders of each other. Now I know you call yourself cable monkey. You are a monkey
@CableMonkey07 Cable monkey dairies are milk factories. You did not know that. They have 1000 cows and over. They have to get the cows in and out. They can’t waste a second. Do not tell me that the teats of cows have no cracks. What I mean by cracks the pores in the skin. They will absorb the dip in which the teats are dipped. The cows should be taken away from you by ASPCA. Bless your stars I do not work for ASPCA.
@awd2702hero I just replied to your comment that I’d work for you if you still want me. I did not see that I’m signed in as fakir0005 and not as mahafakir.
@awd2702hero I;m sorry I did not see your comment. I’d like to work for you. You would be pleased having me milk your cows. If you comment again that you want me to work for you I’d reply right away. I’ve a gmail as pundit005
@holsteincowboy I did not notice that it was HolsteinCowboy commenting. He has some of the biggest farms in the world. How does he milk them on the grass. Besides the cows willl eat worms with the grass. It is very expensive to get the worms out of their systems. Cows, Goats should never be allowed to be out on the grass.
@johndeere4lyf What kind of question r u asking. The cows need to be milked when their udders are full of milk. At most universities there is round the clock milking. The cows are milked when their udders are full. The students are taught how to recognize when cows need to be milked. It is better for the cows. It is more profitable for their owners.
