Melons July 7 2011

These melon plants began growing because we filled the area with dirt i assume the dirt comes from agriculture areas by the truckload so it came with melon seeds. I figured that these were some type of fruit plant and allowed them to grow and i hand pollinated these when i saw the female flowers, little to my surprise it ended up being cantaloupes. i found this out today 😀
