www.kickstarter.com Rough cut of preproduction concept video for “Master Gardeners of Paradise” a proposed documentary feature about the amazingly productive organic farms of Kauai, Hawaii and the master gardeners who created them, by Darrel Jarmusch.
Very nice. What I like about the Big Island is how you can find the right climate to grow just about anything. Mahalo!

What else are you doing on Kauai, besides making a master gardener documentary? How’s Ariel? One Song farm reminds me of Gaien, just different color soil, plus we had grass pathways at Gaien. How’s Jungle Janie? Are y’all still farming together? Looking forward to your finished documentary. Walking in your cousins footsteps behind a camera, I see… I tried to find an email address for Sun, but was unsuccessful. Could you share it with me? Or maybe he doesn’t have one? peace ~laura

Aloha~ I was wondering what happened to my favorite mentor, Sun Hadley!! Nice work Darrel! Laura here, though y’all will remember me as “Lauraradia” when I lived with you both back in 1994 at Gaien, and Gaia Gardens. Brendan and I are still together, living in south FL, and have 3 children (Kai age 16, who was conceived on Kauai, Junah age 7, Aria age 4). Would love to stay in touch with you both. Sometimes ya don’t know how much you miss someone till you find a video of them on youtube!

Hello Guys. Great little video.
I dig what you’r doing! My wife & I are moving to the island of Kauai around November 2012. I’m a aspiring permaculture / aquaponices farmer, so I understand how important it is for this kind of information to be spread. We are professional photographers by trade, we shoot with a Canon 7D & 5D and have a nice assortment of L Series lenses. I would be more then happy to help you guys make this film happen. Peace and Love. RobCruz.
