  1. A big problem with this is labeling, for a lot of items we simply are not told where it actually comes from. If an item of food is imported but then packaged in Australia it can be labeled “made in Australia”. Fresh produce is often hard to know as it may not be in the box it was shipped in and therefore you really don’t know its point of origin. You say soy is better for less pesticides but when you consider that most soy is genetically modified, i just don’t eat or drink soy.
