A pyrethrin spray is extremely effective especially on the softer nymphs of
this bug. Give thgem a squirt of pyrethrin and way adios to them. Watch for
new bugs hatching a couple of weeks later and spray again.
amazing pepper crop! my 5 plants, 4 your Franckensteins I hope & 1 thai
(actually 3 plants, with smaller peppers than yours, I got because I liked
your’s) back in the house because it’s cold again, rainy & hail too. I
direct sewed some sweet pepper varieties, ain’t said hi yet. My onions
which came back from last year, have many blooms. My spinach came back too
& was thick leaved & delicious! Now have a lot going to seed. I think
radishes not radishing is deficient phosphorous? Good for roots.
I like the diversity in the lawn flora, I wonder how you’ll mow around
those vines though. Are you going to trellis them? Vines grab to the grass
and it makes lifting them a bitch when mowing.
@Praxxus55712 Dowatermelons do this on a hot day also? But if theyre from
down the south i doubt it :L theyre in the same family as pumpkin a d
squash though?
someone probably already mentioned this, but a possible reason the radishes
put out more leaves than radish could be that the soil was too rich. The
plant decided to feed the leaves rather than store it in the root which it
will do for survival in poorer soil.
The pods of radishes are edible and spicy!

It’s probably too late now but you probably have squash bugs and they can

eat the radish greens! They’re delightful in salads, and you can also prep
