  3. Milk is by definition dairy.

    Why do you need to eat something dairy free? If you are lactose intollerant, you can’t drink goat’s milk because it does have lactose.

    If you are trying to keep kosher, goat’s milk counts as dairy for biblical purposes. You aren’t allowed to eat goat’s milk with meat.

    If you are allergic to something in cow’s milk, that something may or may not be present in goat’s millk.

  4. Many people who are mildly lactose intolerant can handle goat milk. People who are actually allergic to cow milk can usually handle goat milk as it has different proteins.
