the plants need iron and potas,the molasses has everything the plant needs i no iron wont harm the fish but not sure bout the other stuff in the molasses like potassium

im sorry but it will harm the fish the thick gu will kill them and they could get stuck in it
you could get some fake plants or you could buy some food for the plants at the store
what they eat is sunlight and particals in the water
