Question by Chan: I Plan to do organic farming. Can any one suggest what all products would sell and where to sell?
The place should be at reasonable distance from the consumers and the product should have good shelf life.
Thanks in advance for good ideas.

You need to look at what grows in your area well, first. Then look at what is the most disease resistant and easily established crops. I would also look at food/herbs/veggies that can be made into something else besides fresh.
ie. lavender-soap/dried wreaths/saches
berries-jams/jellies/sauces

I grow high end fruits, vegetables and herbs and sell direct to the customers via farmers markets, my on farm store and restaurants.
Things with long shelf life include rice, dried beans, dried corn/popcorn, dried herbs, gourds, seeds.
if you want to make the most money by doing your own marketing sell direct to the customer. if you want to not do your own marketing find a wholesaler who will buy your crop each year. this will cut your profits by about 40% to 50% but you will have a lot more time to farm.
