if yo are asking such a general question, then you have no idea about either. Not to be rude, but such a general question will only get a general answer…..which is hydroponics is growing in a soilless medium, whereas aeroponics doesnt use a medium at all.
as you are asking such a question i would HIGHLY recommend to understand and master the hydroponics before you venture to aeroponics (when you know more you will ask yourself why bother anyway) Infact, dont use any-ponics for now!

Hydroponics is the growth of plants without soil which involves supplying all of the nutrients usually supplied by soil to plants via water.
Aquaponics combines the breeding of fish in a controlled environment with hydroponic plant growing – the plants and the fish are bred together in one integrated system, which benefits both of them.
