my family and I want to raise baby turkeys but I don’t know how… I want to raise them but I don’t know where I can get them and I dont know what food to get them… please someont help me!!!

Storey’s has a great book that is inexpensive on how to raise turkeys…..
Google baby turkeys and you will find plenty of hatcheries around. I bought some heritage poults and a handful of Giant Whites a few years ago…27 birds total…..They almost ate me out of house and home…..I lost quite a bit of money on them…..mine didn’t hatch until July…..by the time they got big enough to sex so I could sell the extras it was mid to late Oct……no one wanted turkeys to feed for the winter……They were eating about 250 pounds of food a week plus the just about wiped out the grass on a 1/3 acre pen…..I had to leave the country because of a family illness….I sold the birds to one person if you call $ 8 each for full grown pure bred turkeys selling them…then to top it off he came back and stole some cages while we were out of the country….I couldn’t ever find his number to track him down when I came home six months later…..but to cut to the chase, unless you have a big place where you can let them roam to help feed themselves…..it cost more to feed them than you can make selling them…..
