  1. Patty, the birds are probably thirsty. That is why they are picking at your
    leaves for the moisture. Try putting out a dish of water away from your
    plants. That way everyone is happy =). Just a suggestion. If you try it,
    let me know if it works.

  4. I love your videos Patty! This is my first year trying to plant a raised
    bed garden. I already started the seeds inside. I have a quick question.
    This might be silly but how do you know its a male? When you planted did
    you know they where male/female?

  5. lol no I didnt know when they were seeds silly. When they have blooms the
    male will be smaller and will not have a tiny roundness to the bottom of
    the bloom. The female will. I hope that helped. Sorry to get back to you so
    late . I had a family death and was not myself.
