Lol who knew I would get the best recipe for naan from an Aussie guy versus all my indian friends and family. Love it. Thnx buddy, it turned out amazing:)

Made this recipe last night, added some basil, oregano and garlic! Came out great, then put together some panini’s! Great and easy to follow recipe…well, had to get the conversion of the 190 mil of water off the net! Lol, but np otherwise! Thanks bud!
You can use an egg along with the rest of the ingredients if you want but I don’t believe that it can substitute for yeast. Restaurants in India usually tend to avoid eggs because of the large amount of vegetarian clients they have. My Indian friend makes them with egg.
From what I hear , people tend to substitute yeast with baking powder, maybe that would help you.

Maybe its the yoghurt. See if you can get proper creamy plain yoghurt.
And maybe you can try using milk instead of water. Tend to give you a more softer and sweeter dough.
