A review of the 2011 solar hydroponic system. I’m really liking the new 6V batteries and with 60W so solar panels to charge them during the day I never have …

Have you ever heard of Kratky hydroponics? You don’t need an air pump.
MHPGardener has some pretty interesting videos here on YouTube about it.
Also, GreenPowerScience on YouTube shows how to mount Mylar on a frame to
get a perfect, mirrored wall without wrinkles or creases. The reverse side
of Christmas wrap and inside of snack bags is also a good source for Mylar
if you want to go a little cheaper.

I’m new to hydroponics and you in part inspired my involvement. But from
the experience of my tests, I think your issue may be one of nutrients.
From what I understand, nutrient mixes need to change during plant growth,
where vegetation, blossom and yield require different nutrient mixes to
properly produce. If you leave for months at a time, your plants might
require more active nutrient management. Might it be that your
recirculating system doesn’t provide a proper growth program?
Hey great videos man, keep it up. I had a suggestion , I was wondering how
to build that type of hydroponic set up in your green house like step by
step, and/or what is that type of hydroponics is that. Please and thank you
Thanks for the great video, but maybe.. just maybe the plastic pipes that
you’re using for your garden can change the temperature on the water
causing your plants to fade or not grow, plus you have them under a
dome..??.. maybe..

Thanks for the update Matt, luckily my outdoor garden did pretty good.
@eurolagnia This is what I’m thinking. Had I left the plants when they were
in a full strength veg stage I think they may have done better. Last year
worked out better because I had time to get the plants adjusted to the
hydro system.

Why not try growing some frost tolerant stuff in that system, like kale.
You might be surprised!
