@MaJahBlak Good on you my friend. You have a very positive attitude, determined to succeed. Thats the most important part of your Watermelon venture. Looking forward to the video :-))
Just started 65 mounds. I’m hoping to have 215 more by the weekend. I growing, Royal Goldens, Desert Kings, Orangeglo, Crimson Sweet, Yellow Shipper and Haikaido. I’m using Bat Gauno, Mexican and Seabird Gauno. Do you think I’ll have success. I sold everything to get 8 acres of land. Now I’m broke lol but I’m determined to succeed. I’m going to shoot a vid in the morning. I have to hook up a water pump to a well. thanks
@guidalco Just Google How to grow square watermelons. I have not attempted this procedure but must give it a go next growing season. It is winter time now in New Zealand. Thank you for your interest. Wishing you every success with your new venture. :-))

@zombification123 I lived in an area in New Zealand that had a short growing season and used cloches. Hoops over individual rows with clips to hold vented plastic cover on. This worked very well. Formed a micro climate that rockmelons thrive in. You need to put up wind net also if you get windy weather or your block has no shelter belts. Are you on Skype?
before i ask anything can i grow the rock melons you were talking about in ny? i would build a greenhouse if i had to

After I finished watching this video, I felt mentored. I will plant a successful watermelon mound.
@ALETHEIA8881 Too much water and not enough sun will stunt their growth bigtime. Keep the soil moist and not soaking wet. They need full sun. You can place a sun reflector by your plants for more sun.
hello, thanks 4 da video, its encouragin to me, I got farm land in oaxaca mexico, Im moving from us down there to give farming a try, im doin research and thats how i found your video, if you could give some advise i will apreciate it.
@CAllomesonline That’s winter time? Looks so gorgeous. I’m jealous. Thank you for your response. I live in Oregon, USA, and am a total amateur grower. I’ve found it hard to find some helpful step-by-step videos when it comes to growing melons, especially those in containers. My setup is rather second-hand, to be honest. It’s hard to grow when you live in an upstairs balcony and have to use containers. Anyway, best of luck to your endeavors.
@KingKems Thank you for your interest. It is Winter time in New Zealand, so can’t do a physical example on how to grow these beauties. I do another business online now but will grow a few Watermelon for family and friends this growing season. Then I can do a video for you so you to can learn how to grow the beautiful watermelon plant. All the best, Colin N Z
