Thanx for the tip Chef Dave! If I may, I’d like to add my own. Make sure to wash your melon thoroughly before cutting so you don’t transfer dirt and bacteria from the skin of your cantaloupe to the fruit itself.
Cantaloupes are grown on the ground and some growers use manure to fertilize which can result in E-coli bacteria on the outside of your melon. Be safe….wash, then cut.
Very useful! I enjoyed it. As an aside, I will say that I already had my cantaloupe picked out so I skipped ahead. Maybe next time for something like this, put a link in the description to do that automatically, like “Hey, if you’ve already picked out your cantaloupe, click here: 0:00.” where of course you’d have the time you began cutting.
You would think I’d know how to do something so simple, but I had to search it & found your video! Thanks for the tips! Great explanations & easy to follow!!

David- I think the girl talking about the public wash room is talking about around the 3:40 mark. It does kinda look like bathroom stalls behind you. Its obviously your kitchen cabinets. Funny.

Thanks. This is exactly what I was looking for. My 11 month old son loves Cantelope (or as we call it – Muskmellon) 🙂
