I have some hens that arearoun four and are starting to die is this around a chickens lifespan?

7-15 years is the natural lifespan of a chicken (but 6 weeks for a broiler and12-23 months for a laying hen).
However, if all your chickens are dying at once, it may be as a result of a disease. Check out this website for information on symptoms.
the average age of hens is around ten years, practically you are safe to give or take a couple of years .Chickens begining to die at around four sounds rather like a problem ,best to consult a vet who can guide you as to the most likely cause of these early deaths.Not normal so act fast you don’t want to end up losing all your birds.

hi some live to be 100! but most to be about 70
