  3. boy if someone had a newborn baby goat weigh 15 pounds at birth, lol i want to see it….. Normally a goat no matter if it is a milk goat or a meat goat will weigh anywhere from 4-10 pounds…… we have them born about every week…. lol i have yet to see a 15 baby…. good luck and god bless

  4. I have heard goats weigh everything from 11 ounces to 19 pounds. Really… an Alpine breeder in Arkansas had a giant buck kid born a few years ago. lol! Other than that, the majority of dairy kids will be somewhere between 6 and 12 pounds. Lighter kids are usually in sets of multiples, and the heavier ones are usually single bucks. If you’re looking at Nigerian Dwarves, you can get anywhere from slightly under a pound to maybe 3 pounds or so. Good luck with your kids!
