Question by subgenius: How many hunting or fishing license and tags do you buy every year? how much does it cost? what state?
I get a package deal in Oregon called a “sports pak” it includes
hunting license
fishing license
archery deer tag
archery elk tag
bear tag
cougar tag
salmon tag
steelhead tag
turkey tag
bird validation
it cost $ 130 for residents.
I still end up buying more salmon tags $ 11each (1 tag 10fish) my shell fish license $ 6.50 and my pursuit license to run hounds is $ 30
few years back Oregon started requiring boat license.

deer combo (archery and gun season)
small game
fishing all speices
turkey
that adds up to about 75 bucks but they have rasied the prices this year and will again raise them the next two years.
These are for Michigan residents. And they also have a discount when get three or more at the same time for the same person.

I live and hunt here in Illinois and this is how my state works. You get your hunting lisence which is $ 7.50 or you can get a combo hunting and fishin lisence for $ 19.25. Then you can get deer, turkey, other game tags. You fill out paperwork, send it to the DNR, and they send you back two tags per person that sent in for tags. If you are a landowner your deer tags are free. you can read all you want and then some here about hunting prices, regulations, and all that stuff.
