What’s a visit to the goat farm without trying their superlicious goat milk.
It was my first time trying. Taste is better than I expected it to be. Definitely will try it again.
Question by : How long should a pound of goat milk replacer last? ?
I am bottle feeding a goat and I’m going to order milk replacer and i need to know how long it will last?
Can you help? Leave your own answer in the comments!
never ever use milk replacers! It is very harmful to baby goats and ends up resulting in death more then not! I have a young goat (3 weeks old) and am bottle feeding him, I use vitamin D whole milk. It is good because it has all the good fats, and helps nurish their bodies. He goes through about a gallon of milk a day, which is a lot, but deffinately worth having a healthy baby goat. I have also found that if you have to use replacer, because money is tight, etc that you should consider mixing half and half. They also suggest using lamb replacer. However, kids dont thrive well on filler because it is a whole milk byproduct, and mostly soy. Even adding an egg to it will not help. Just use milk, good luck
