get a dish pan with soil and some worms from a fishing store stick em in there add some grass and spray the dirt with a spray bottle everynow and then keep them away from sunlight and for added effect put them in a clear box so you can see them from the side. one of those storage containers would be good with a high quality potting soil……every now and then add some worm food……….and there ya go contact me for more info if needed
Find a plastic storage box with a lid. Get a mixture of potting soil and peat moss. Fill the box half full with the 1/3 peat moss 2/3 potting soil. Leave about 2″ of space from the top of the box. Add water until soil is moist not wet. otherwise the worms will drown or dye at the top of the box. Add the worms. Keep the soil moist by adding water and throw in small scraps of food like bread or veggies. Do not add very much or it will rot and make the worms sick. There is more to it than this but this is basically what you need to do. There is allot on the net on how to do it just type it into a search engine.
There’s a great book out called “Worms Ate My Garbage” that has directions for several types of worm bins.
There are also commercial worm bins you can buy, I have a “Can O Worms” with extra bins that is wonderful. They are expensive tho…I got mine at a yard sale for 5 bucks…
