Hai friends!!I have an invasion of bumble bees in my backyard and it is very annoying. I love to relax in my yard with my dogs and I can’t because they are always swarming around and I fear that they might get stung.Please help me

So you got a dangerous beehive near your home.Try this simple solution and get those bees out in no time.
1. Get a cardboard box, about medium size. Buy some sticky traps and place them inside.
2. Take the center of a few flowers, (pollen works best) and sprinkle on the sticky traps.
3. Cut a hole, about 3 inches around, just enough for those bees to come charging in.
4. Try pouring some honey on the sticky traps as well, to lure more bees.
5. Place the cardboard box close to the hive, about 5-10 feet away.
6. Wait. Pretty soon, all the bees will be stuck in the box, and you can call someone to haul them away.
The following tips may help you.
* In some jurisdictions it is illegal to kill honey bees. Check with your local authorities first. They may also be able to assist with removing the bees for you.
But let me warn you–
* Bees can be dangerous. If you are not sure what you are doing, or do not have the right equipment, call a professional bee wrangler.

Locate where the bees nest is in your yard. Take a large and very long branch that is quite thick. Wrap a towel around the end. Douse it in gas or oil. Set it on fire. Set the nest on fire while standing a ways away from it. Then Run like hell.
BTW this is not safe but it does work really well.
Wear some very thick sweat pants or very thick jeans.

If the yellow jacket nest is that big and established I would not attempt to do it myself. There a many on cantact wasp killers, all good. You will have to get far too close to apply a bee killer into the hole. Yellow jackets are the most aggresive of the wasps/bees, they will attack like killer bees, no joke. Did you try to call the town to see if they can help as this could cause problems for your neighbors as well as your self. Try to find a proffesion that might take a little money at a time. If you decide to do it alone, have the kids somewhere else if they have a way in the house they may use the house as an escape from you trying to exterminate them. More likely they will attack you.. I wish you luck.

Probably would be worth the investment to hire an exterminator. I know the type of huge bumblebees you are talking about and I would definately not want to mess with them!

We have a serious shortage of bees for pollination in this country. Please do not destroy the hive. Call a bee keeper and see if they will remove the hive. If they are honey bees they might take the honey as payment for there time. I had a 8 foot square honey hive in my wall and it was completely removed by a bee keeper. Mustang Sal

get a burning stick (a big one) and burn the inside of the house…make sure you wear face and body protection
