There is a beehive in my yard. How can I get rid of it without hiring someone? Thank you.

Wait until dark, because then all the bees will be in the nest (during the day some of them are flying around). Buy a good insect spray (most hardware stores, garden center’s, even walmart). Spray the nest and then watch it the next day to see if there’s activity. Spray until there are no more bees. Tehn you can knock it into a garbage bag.

I wouldn’t do any of the suggestions that are listed, because you don’t want to destroy honey bees, or the like. I don’t think that the Humane’s Society would charge you anything to remove the beehive, but check first. You can use a smoke that will put the bees asleep. The Humane’s Society would know the name of the smoke that you would use.
Spray it with a hose and run. 😛

get a can of beehive spray, you can spray it from many feet away, it will kill it off.

First, get a stick. Second, hit the shit out of it. Third?? Grab a beer?

Pour some gas in it and the gas will kill the bee’s instantly.
I know because I did it before. I did not get stung.

In the cool of the morning while they are dormant, spray up into it with wasp / hornet spray. Be very very careful!!!
