Question by just asking…: How can I get health papers on ducks we hatch to be used for 4-H projects?
My stepmom is trying to raise ducks to help my daughter with her 4-H projects. But they need to have health papers. How do we get these. If anyone can help me that would be great! We live in Ohio if that makes any difference.

  1. Call a bird vet Then get themchecked out thats it.
But make sure the vet is a specialist or knows birds

  2. The vet does not have to be a specialist or an avian vet. A regular vet is perfectly capable of treating birds. Trust me, I know for sure. He just has to be willing to do it, some do not like to treat birds or poultry. If one turns you down, call another one. You will need the vet to check out the ducks, and he will fill out a health certificate for you. Please read my profile.
