Wax worms are raised and hard to find in the wild! Bee keepers hate the little moth and this is the bee keepers bain the wax worm or bee moth!
There are a few sites that show you how to raise your own stock for personal use snd I will post when I find the right one!
Wax worms do not come from the ground or old wood! The moth lays eggs in a bee hive!!
pet stores carry waxworms, gas stastions
walmart meijers.. if you go now and buy them
crappies are hitting on them as i type this
or jig tipped minnow with a waxwom
For the trouble it is to find them and catch them, you re best off buying them, also once you have caught a few they are never enough for a good long days fishing.
in the dirt after it rains
