Good advice on mulberries. One of my favorite fruits. Love to eat them right off the tree. Live in a low lying area. Sadly late frost hit them last 2 years in a row.
Old carpet, upside down around trees = good mulch. Top with grass clipping, if you like. Keeps weeds at bay for a long time. Retains moisture. Earthworms like it indicating value.

Yes, good advice. Late frosts in my area this year, not at my place thankfully, have decimated the early cropping on these fruit trees.
