turned out really nice. the slab wood looked nice to me. rainy here in Syr
too, had a few moments of sunshine today though (moment=seconds). We have
alot of old wood windows, do the sides have to be done in wood or could you
do a cold frame out of all glass windows like a greenhouse? That turned out
excellent-typing, listening, looked up and thought WoW, nice.

I know its a long shot! I’m sure I’ll be getting weeds – THANKFULLY NO!
slugs and snails… I’ll just make an effort to keep an eye on it and weed
it – since its not that big I should be alright… I’m actually most
concerned with where I put it, not the best light, but I didn’t have any
other options with it being close to the house… soooo we’ll see. -TEW

@700eyesonly007 thanks for the kind words… Not sure about an all glass
one because remember the frame is actually holding about 18″ of soil – so I
would think glass would not be ideal for that structurally, especially
during the winter months. Don’t forget you need access to the plants, a lot
of peeps do hoop and dome cold frames, I don’t want to be rolling or tieing
flaps or hobbled over crawling around inside it, ESP during frigid winter
days – I want something I can get in and get out. -TEW

set on the ground. They climbed in, got drunk and passed out. =) Nobody
