I made this water heater with 2X6’s, recycled windows that I saved after having new ones installed and PEX tubing. Works great!

NP and add in a few diff ways to kinda store water in yr box thats why i like the radiator setup small hose in large area to get hot small hose out that alows the water in it to move very slow getting max heat in! If u follow that main way u will always get alot more heat out! How i got that idea was if yr tube is same size as yr feed line the water is always moving at the speed of yr pump to fast to heat up alot. But if u make a larger water storage in yr box and than move the water slow bingo.
Thanks, I made a new one using drip tube hoses and composite boards. It worked great except for connecting all the tubs to one point. I still have to work on that part of it.
A LONG video but the beginning shows the new design.
I made a water heater using 3 old car radiators just connect all them together one leads to the next the bottom one in mine is inlet and top is outlet i used an old frig for the metal and it can in direct sun raise the water temp by 40 plus deg if i slow the water flow down it makes steam. U might want to try to find a few and add them into yr box would be a big boost also i panted them with flat black motor paint i also put 2 mirrors on it one on top one on bottom that boosted it alot!

More tubing = more heat! Great start.
How long to warm a pool that size at 60 to say 70-75!

Yes, my next one will use much smaller tubing and lots of it.

Nice, but you need more pipe in the box.
