  1. Ah yes, the sweet fragrant aroma of pesticides in the morning as I walk through my garden. This presenter is a paid hack job. Enough with the BS. Anyone advocating the use of chemical pesticides in this era is 1) A complete moron. 2) a industry insider or associate.

  4. Totally agree with you. Chances are this university’s ag program is heavily funded by Big AG which includes pesticide companies and GMO seed producers. What a hack job this guy is to even suggest spraying poison on edible crops.

  5. The minute he started talking about pesticides I tuned out. Why bother growing your own poisoned food when you can buy it at the store? Organic and sustainable is the only way I choose to go; work with the environment, don’t destroy it.

  22. I found it interesting. But then I’m not ‘serious’ about it. It is more about having fun and enjoying oneself and the show. I get my food at the store, and just browse the videos. You seem to be pissed off over a hobby.

  24. I love this lecture. I’m really glad to find it. I’m a UC Berkeley grad, and love the UC system in general. My wife and I are getting into Gardening.
I’ve looked at all sorts of “How to grow vegetables” books and videos.

This one is the best. And, to the idiot below criticizing this video: where did you graduate college? Sacramento community college? Anyone can be a critic….it’s so easy, isn’t it. Shut up! Idiot!

    This video is GREAT!!!
