not a good idea. light can shine through the bucket. and the top piece,
just go to a hydro store and buy one of those lid basket that is meant to
hold grow medium. but i cant figure out of it is better to buy an opaque
bucket from the hydro store, or buy one from a hardware store and wrap it
up so no light can shine through. maybe there are some cheap ones that’s
opaque, gotta search for it.
very interesting. I wanted to set up a green house this year.. but may end
up making my home theater (bonus room above the garage) an inside
greenhouse.
there are little hydroponic shops practically everywhere (mine has an
address of 420 main street) the bucket adapter net pots cost bout as much
as one of those buckets theres no reason not to pick one up

those same buckets cost like 5$ at my home depo. At my local hydro store i
got some legit dwc buckets with net lids for 7$. Not bad to pay extra 2-3$
for a already made one.
