Soils with fertilizer mixed into it, especially test tube derived chemicals are bad, as not all material is broken down entirely before being locked in the plant tissue. Thus when you eat your crop you are putting a slew of chemical cocktails that have not nearly been adequately tested over the long term.
please… don’t use miracle grow or any non organic fertilzers. The taste is much better when you use a soilless mix like premium grower’s mix (pre lymed and infused with micorhizal fungi) or a mixture of pure peat moss, vermiculite, and perlite.
