John from www.growingyourgreens.com visits the Maker Faire and learns about growing spirulina in a fish tank, also a easy hydroponic system as well as how to make a strawberry tower out of 5 gallon buckets and see how to make an easy-to-make worm composting bin.
Very good info

LOL I am so happy that I am living in a time where if I become homeless or have no way to make money, I can still find a way to eat healthy thanks to advances in agricultural, energy, and other sustainable technologies!

nd with aquaponics u could feed the worms to ur fish and the castings to the plants, so u dont have to buy fish food anymore, then u can eat the fruit from the plants, the plants and the fish

MORE HYDROPONICS!! YAY!!! Another great reason to grow indoors is fresh food of your choice all year round! You can also make your own systems with the same tubs you showed for the worms (which I’m totally going to do btw)
I didn’t know GH had an organic line now!!! And the tip about the window blinds… *facepalm* I just threw some out!

Looked up the instructions on the Master Gardeners site. The design looks great but I would ad a few pvc pipes with holes drilled to assist with easier watering. What a great way to use spare buckets, thanks for sharing John.

@H8RbyN8URE- I’ve heard most newspapers are printed with vegetable based inks these days. I’ve done a little and it decomposes fairly quickly.
