  1. Just an FYI on were to get buckets. Go to your lo al grocery store with a bakery. They typically get icing in 5 gallon buckets and usually throw them away. Icing is very oily so some cheap soap from the dollar store will cut it.

  5. Great idea about the shock prevention. I planted my tomato plants in the buckets like this about a month ago and today they are about 3 ft. tall. I wonder if I had used your method would they be further along now. Have you made a comparison video of one that is planted with and without doing the treatment to the roots before planting? I have some seedlings that a ready to go in a bucket in about a week or so. I will definitely try this out. Thanks!

  9. you might want to get all of them up off the deck, you are going to have rings all over it. My suggestion is discarded pallets. You can cut them in half and use them as shelves. I”m starting a container garden this year. Any ideas on places to get free containers?

  18. i had that growing anyways, because i used the railing to support the tomatoes and peppers while they were growing, when the tomatoes and peppers were big enough, i started wrapping them around the railing until it was a tomato hedge.

  22. REALLY, MY REFRIGERATOR IS FULL OF TOMATOES GROWN IN 5 GALLON BUCKETS. NOT TO MENTION CUCUMBERS, PEPPERS, SQUASH AND ZUCCHINI, ALL GROWING IN BUCKETS. I have even growing in my garden now some jalapeños and yellow pear tomatoes make great salads, green vegetables. GROWING MANY PLANTS ENSURE A GOOD HARVEST, PLUS I CAN CONTROL THE SOIL BETTER IN CONTAINERS AND BUCKETS . PAILS. MI ROOTS GROW DOWN INTO THE MEDIUMS TOWARDS THE SELF WATER 5 gallon BUCKET CHECK OUT MY OTHER VIDS

  23. i found out buckets are no good because they restrict the roots from growing outwards which reduces the optimal potential of the plants yields.
