agrreed with grace.. and if your using hay, your land management is not up
to par. in SC you should have PLENTY of grass ALL year.. I dont really
worry about the little bit of grain they get when they are milked.. they
still mainly eat grass so i personally feel thats ok.. just make sure you
arent using bad grains.

AND COWS ARE NOT MEANT TO EAT GRAIN OR CORN AT ALL. GRAIN IN THEIR DIET
CHANGES THE BALANCE OF OMEGA 3-6-9 AND IT IS NOT AS HEALTHY ANY MORE.
