www.veria.com In this video from Veria Living we see What is Organic when Nathan visits a husband-and-wife farming team — one conventional and one organic. After watching her husband’s chemical farming practices, Gavita Grewall convinced him to give her four acres of land so that she could grow chemical-free food for her family. What started humbly as four acres has now blossomed into a full-fledged 47-acre organic farm. From the produce to the animal feed to the Ayurvedic veterinary practices, Gavita’s farm is truly organic.

What a wonderful video and demonstration of the potentials of organic farming and traditional knowledge. Does Gavita have an email /contact address? I am a student of permaculture / ayurveda and would love to exchange ideas.

Like others I was influenced and shackled by the industrial world but I have realized where I truly belong. So what is veriawellness?

Well, basically I am a Malaysian currently working & living in the UK. My plan is to buy a land (2-5 acres) in Malaysia, build our house and grow organic vegetables (choi sum, long beans, okra, etc) ayurvedic herbs and fruits that grows in that climate. I also will have wind & solar generator installed. When I was in my teens I remember how happy I was while living in our rented home which had a 1/2 acre land. Miss all the exotic fruits, fresh green environment.
