Garden update on growing some watermelon and pumpkins by Halloween

Just for the fun of planting something during these super hot summer months here in Arizona, we planted some pumpkin in hopes of something by Halloween. We also planted some watermelon and a few other squashplants. All were all planted by seed about the mid part of August. They are doing so great now that the temps are falling into the high 90’s, lol, crazy to think that right!

  1. @ArizonaAdventures I started around the same time so I worry about racing against the clock. That’s cool it just popped out. I had that happen with a huge sunflower. It was great.

  2. @Thagirion9 I know right, it’s getting close. Mine have grown quite a bit, but still no fruit that I can see. Although I have to say that with our canteloupe it was like one day it was just there, lol, so I’m hoping 🙂

  3. Cool. I’m trying to grow pumpkins too before Halloween and also planted in early Sept. I’m worried time may run out. But looks nice.
