  2. The nutrients that come with the areogarden are in little sachets like you
see soy sauce in with Chinese take away. Actually the liquid looks like soy
sauce but there is some hard crystals in the bottom of each one that never
    seems to dissolve.

  3. Amazing how fast the roots grow once the plant is established. That is the
part a topside gardener never sees but is most important.

  4. Sorry but I’m a complete novice at this and the only system that I have
tried is the one in the video.

  5. I always think of Flowering Dogwood, Cornus Canadensis, I was on a walk led
by a naturalist who was explaining different plants as we encountered them
.We came to a whole area covered with a carpet of dogwood and he said it
was likely only 2 or 3 plants, each plant has a massive root system.

  6. If you don’t mind using GH (General Hydroponics), the Lucas Formula uses
the micro and the bloom from the 3 part GH (like you show in your video).
It’s the easiest hydro method I’ve ever used, it’s totally worth
researching if Hydroponics is your thing. I’ve since moved on to Aquaponics
and Organic soil but if I were to return to Hydroponics I would use the
    Lucas Formula.

  7. I think a lot of people use the top of the fridge but it has never been an
option for me as mine is built in.

so cold outside. I just may have to try some hydros- been a little
reluctant because I kind of go overboard when It comes to gardening ha ha

  13. My heat mat has a shut off feature…I’ll ask around to see if I can find
an old one. I use to put mine on top of the fridge but since we remodeled
the kitchen there’s no space anymore 🙁

  17. Hi Dale, the Kratky hydroponic system is pretty neat, just set and forget
it, as of my last video 10 days ago some of the lettuce leafs are 6 inches
tall. I will do a video shorty to show whats new.

  20. Last winter we hardly had any snow but I clean the snow off the roof every
storm. This year we’ve had lots of snow and I haven’t touched it. It seems
to be doing fine. Once the sun comes out it warms up some inside and all of
the snow slides down the sides. There is about 4 feet of snow on each side
but it doesn’t seem to be harming anything.

  22. I thought maybe from your thumbnail that you were doing some tie dying. But
I bet your plants are happier with their food than a new tie dye shirt. 🙂

a lot of it could use some lime.
