  1. Hi, check ebay as well, i saw one for a little over $829.00 do a search with the phrase “All American Senior Flywheel Can Sealer – 1502” good luck, also, ensure you can get cans from the LDS cannery before you buy one, if not they are very expensive……steve

  10. We dont seem to have anything like it here in the UK, the nearest we can get are glass jars known as KILNER jars which cannot be pressure processed like Mason jars. I would like to discover how to obtain a machine like yours and where to obtain the tins outside the USA. The name is also different in that we called processing food into the KILNER jars is called bottling. I hope someone out there can help me find the answers.

  17. Hi, the LDS cannery does not sell the can sealer. The empty cans can be bought from a LDS cannery. Do a google search on LDS cannery, they have locations all over the USA. do a goodle search on the senior can sealer. The canning pantry usually has the best price. You Tube does not let me post links in the reply., look some of the other canning videos, i think i have a link in one of them, good luck, send a private message if you need more info…..Steve

  20. Thank you for responding. If you watch the following video, they cook the meat in the can. I wish it showed more of a step by step explanation. It says “error” when I try to post the video link so do a you tube search. The name of the video is, “Mennonite Central Committee – Meat Canning 2010”

  21. Hi Pro!, we do meats in a pressure cooker, preserve using a water bath, and dry can, with dry canning, you save a lot of room and your shelf like is 20 years VS 3 to 4 on some items…hope this helps, we try to have a balanced or rounded food stores…..

  23. Hi Otter!!!!….. the motor is sweet, after hand sealing about 6 cases in one day, i had to figure out a way, it did work, you do have a point about the grid, you can crank if needed, but at that time, i think we have big problems and will have nothing to put in the cans….thanks for watching!

  24. I think I’d prefer the motor method but if we were in a down grind situation then the hand crank would have to do I suppose. 🙂 Thanks for sharing; I was curious to see how one of these operated.
