A bunch of us went out to St. Johns to visit Eric’s (and Ben’s) chicks. This was their second time outside and they were having a grand old time.
Question by steves95008: Favorite urban legend?
Mine is that the chicken from KFC is grown from a genetic hybrid chicken / turkey that is bred to not have a head and is fed from a feeding tube ’til it is killed. (a.k.a. “Creature 34”)

I like the one about the faith healer who was killed by a religious/political conspiracy and then came back from the dead. It’s thoroughly debunked, but people keep circulating it as a true story!

I like the one about the guy who gets into his car and there’s an old woman sitting in it but then it turns out that it’s a man dressed as an old lady and he has an ax. I remember when I was a kid my sister telling that one and believing that it happened to a friend of a friend of hers.

I’ve always liked the “Have you checked the kids” one. The baby sitter getting calls from someone who keeps asking this, and it turns out the he’s in the house and has killed the kids. I actually had someone tell me that “they knew the girl this happened to”. I guess that’s why it’s my favorite.
Another fast food restaurant one is the finger found in the chili at Wendy’s…. oh, wait, that one is TRUE. Wendy’s in San Jose, CA, near the office I used to work at.

i have all-ways like “the crying lady” it is about a lady in a fit of remorse drowned her kids in a river and the river washed away the bodies and when she came to her senses she came back to find then and to this day she is still looking for them.
