Question by Dan the man: examples of cover crops?
I need 5 or so examples of cover crops for a summer assignment…also, grass isn’t considered a cover crop, is it?

  1. legumes, buckwheat, cowpeas, etc. just put “summer cover crops” into your search engine

  2. For winter cover, cereal rye is commonly used in the Midwest, although in southern states, sometimes annual ryegrass is planted in the fall.
