He is the author of The New Organic Grower, Four Season Harvest, and The Winter Harvest Manual. In this video he disccuses his life in organic farming.

  2. I just read your Winter Harvest book, Mr. Coleman. Fascinating. As I understand in your cold houses, or hoop houses as I like to call them, you use no mulch as that will inhibit solar heat from thawing the ground during the day. Is this correct? Also, how often do you water during mid November thru mid February? I’ll be building a 12’x24′ hoop house on our property in SW Vermont this August.
