Question by pants on backwards: Do you have chickens in your back yard for a supply of fresh eggs? Would you like to have them?
We have 6 chickens in our back yard ..it is chicken heaven, with grass and large area with plenty of room for them to scratch around.
Do you have chickens and produce your own eggs like this?

Yeah we had chickens once. We only had a maximum of 4 though. I do miss the chickens, think my dads thinking of getting more. Only problem is, I’ve got off eggs :

we did have when we had some acreage.

My wife and I will get a small flock after our chicken house has been properly constructed. Due to a high predator (coyotes, hawks, owls, feral pigs, feral cats, etc) density in this area, free range birding (I like the flavor of the eggs) is limited. A fence system of some type will have to be constructed, a feeding and watering system devised and the correct breed selected before this plan can be implemented.

I’ve had chickens, they’re cool…
I want chickens again… I like hooking up the chicken tractor, and allowing them to prepare the vegetable bed…
