Don’t raise your kids in Turkey or any Muslim countries! Keep them away from Muslims no matter what

Can you be a little more racist Jim A?
Anyway, to answer your question (the Turkey part), children are not raised that differently then they are in America. They are required to go to school (most schools are public), they watch TV, they play computer and video games, and they hang out with their friends (go to malls, play sports, etc). Maybe some cultural values that are taught are different. For example, most people are Muslim and children are mostly closer to their families than they are in America.
This answer is related to children in large cities in Turkey, like Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Izmit, etc. I am not familiar with the raising of children in more rural or suburban areas.
I also suggest you ask more experienced Turkish people. Put this question in the Turkey and Australia sections and you will get many accurate and helpful answers.
