  8. This might seem like all rainbows and sunshine, but taking a calf away from it’s mother to profit off of the human consumption of it’s milk isn’t correct. It’s all about the money.

  12. No, it´s you who are completely ignorant: animal calcium NEVER sticks to our bones it needs Magnesium and Vitamin D; without it it goes straight to our arteries and causes most of heart failures… LOL : huffingtonpost. com/carolyn-dean-md-nd/bone-health_b_1540931.html

  17. Push1 got a point all of u should see what they dont want to show, just imagine if ur wife or sister give birth a baby n then take it away from her so farmers can get her milk to sell it to ohers. That sucks ha? but Its just a caw who cares?? Human do not need milk or derivates. We can find all that protein in a vegan way.

  18. Actually, they dont have to be pregnant to mile, they just have to have been pregnant, they are bred but not constantly, they actually get about 4 months after they have given birth before they are impregnated again.AFTER a cow calves, the milk from that cow is milked into a separate container specifically for the baby cows, so before you come on here talking about all that business, get your facts straight kk thanks

  20. At Rosy-Lane Holsteins we have a new, young partner, Jordan Matthews, who is now part owner in our farm operation. He started here in the calf barn as “chore assistant” in 2002. He didn’t grow up on a farm. Sustainable not only means caring for land and animals, but also being sure the business is economically sustainable, and this is one key point in our farm’s mission statement. We can’t wait for spring to arrive! There’s still ice and snow on the ground here in Southeastern Wisconsin.

  23. We drink milk, why? Because it’s a good source of calcium. Well you can get the exact same amount of calcium from almond milk, soy milk, rice milk, etc.

  24. What they don’t show is that cows only produce milk while pregnant, so in order to keep producing milk these cows are constantly impregnated. And no the calves don’t get the milk, we humans drink it so the baby cows are taken from their mothers right after birth. Just like humans only produce milk while pregnant ONLY for their babies, cows are the same. COW MILK IS FOR COWS
